Daymark Reframed

A landscape photography series capturing the Daymark Tower in Dartmouth, approached with the intention of creating a fresh visual perspective on a widely photographed landmark.

This project explores scale, light, and composition through a mix of ground-level imagery, drone photography, and self-included framing to emphasise the monument’s presence within its surroundings. Shot during golden hour and sunset, the series uses changing light and perspective to reframe a familiar location into something more atmospheric and personal.

The result is a reinterpretation of a well known landmark, focusing on originality of viewpoint rather than repetition of existing representations.
